Join us for a special hosted dining experience at East Side Restaurant in collaboration with Counter Weight Brewing Company of Cheshire, CT.

This evening will feature a thoughtfully curated, multi-course menu inspired by classic German cuisine, paired with a selection of Counter Weight beers chosen to complement each course.

1. Potato PancakesCrisp, golden potato pancakes served with traditional applesauce.Paired with Cutline Lager (4.4% ABV)A refined Helles-style lager featuring soft bready malt character, delicate floral hops, and a clean, refreshing finish that brightens the palate.

2. Corn FrittersCrispy corn fritters drizzled with warm maple syrup and finished with a light dusting of powdered sugar.Paired with Workhorse Pilsner (5% ABV)An unfiltered German Keller Pilsner showcasing bright grassy noble hops, subtle citrus zest, and a crisp malt backbone with refreshing bitterness to balance sweetness.

3. Pretzel BitesSoft, golden-brown pretzel bites served with Zen mustard.Paired with Drudenhaus Rauchbier (5.8% ABV)

A Bamberg-inspired smoked lager brewed with traditional beechwood-smoked malt, delivering layered smoky aromatics, smooth toasted malt depth, and a clean, dry finish.

Paired with Dortmunder Export (5.8% ABV)A classic German-style export lager with a firm malt backbone, subtle honeyed notes, and structured noble hop bitterness that complements savory richness.
